Experience & Education
As a board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Polacek has experience above and beyond that of the average
cosmetic surgeon and many other Rhode Island plastic surgeons. After graduating from the Boston
University School of Medicine with her medical degree, she went on to complete an internship in
Surgery and a Residency in General Surgery at the Boston University Medical Center. Dr. Polacek then
completed a residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the renowned Lahey Clinic Medical
Center in Burlington, Massachusetts. She has been in private practice since her residency concluded.
Dr. Polacek is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of both the American
Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. She is also a member
of the Rhode Island Medical Society.
